利用3D打印技术设计和制造胸廓外固定板，通过胸腔镜手术将非吸收性聚酯缝线绕过浮动肋骨，穿出皮肤后捆绑于外固定板，起到悬吊浮动肋骨的效果，达到限制反常呼吸，提升胸廓，促进肺复张的目的。这种方法仅需要2个3.5cm胸腔镜操作孔，术后4周即可拆除固定板和悬吊线，无植入物，是一种可行的治疗连枷胸的方法。
