uniportal thoracoscopic decortication

66 yrs old male with chronic renal insufficiency on dialysis, diabetic and hypertensive on treatment. he have a left pleural effusion complicated by infection to left loculated empyema. he had a trial of medical thoracoscopy that fail to expand the lung. we perform uniportal VATS decortication. operative time 93 min and chest tube removed on 4th day postoperative.
